Jakarta Receives Predicate for High Compliance with Public Service Standards

The Jakarta administration has won the High Compliance Predicate for the 2021 Public Service Standard Compliance Assessment in the Indonesian Ombudsman. Thus, Jakarta is included in the Green Zone, in compliance with public service standards.

Indonesian Ombudsman Chairman Mokhammdad Najih symbolically handed the award of the title to Jakarta Governor Anies Baswedan and his ranks from six administrative areas and two regional apparatus organizations (OPD), at the Indonesian Ombudsman Headquarters, Jalan HR Rasuna Said, Setiabudi, South Jakarta.

The Governor appreciated the results of the assessment by the Indonesian Ombudsman on administrative service products in Jakarta. Based on the results of the compliance assessment, of the 66 administrative service products scored 8873 and entered the Green Zone with a High Compliance Predicate.

"We would like to say thank you. This is the result of our collaboration at the forefront, dealing directly with community services, as well as ensuring the service is satisfactory and provided according to good standards," he expressed, as quoted by Jakarta PPID's press release, Tuesday (4/19).

He was grateful for the achievement of the high compliance predicate in this public service and thanked all the ranks of the administration for cooperating and making maximum efforts in providing the best public service.

"We dedicate this award to the people who always provide input and support the administration in providing excellent public services," he added.

He also appreciated the Indonesian Ombudsman who always opens a space for communication, discussion, consultation, and collaboration with the administration. It supports the administration in optimally providing public services.

"We are committed to consistently maintaining the compliance level of public services in the Green Zone. Innovations and improvements continue to be made to facilitate the public to access public services both online and offline," he concluded.

As for the details of the compliance scores that were achieved, namely the Agency at Provincial Level: Investment and One-stop Integrated Service (DPMPTSP) Agency and Population and Civil Registration Agency (Disdukcapil) with a score of 93.43; Seribu Islands Administrative District with a score of 83.91; Central Jakarta administration with a score of 90.21; West Jakarta with a score of 90.00; East Jakarta with a score of 87.81; North Jakarta with a score of 88.81; and South Jakarta with a score of 86.96.

The value of public service compliance in Jakarta always increases every year. From 2015 to 2016, the compliance level for the Jakarta zone was 61.20 - 74.64 in the medium category (Yellow Zone). From 2017 to 2021, there had been a significant increase at 85.43 - 88.73 with a high predicate (Green Zone). From 2018 to 2020, there was no public service compliance survey for the administration by the Indonesian Ombudsman.

When seen from the value of compliance with public services nationally, in the top 10, there are only two provinces from Java, namely Jakarta and D.I Yogyakarta.
